Front Desk/Three Keys

Hello, and welcome back to The Series Review! Today I’ll be reviewing the Front Desk series, by Kelly Yang. These books follow ten year old Mia, a Chinese immigrant. Mia is so excited when her parents take a job managing the Calivista Motel. Mia gets to manage the Front Desk! But between school, the mean motel owner and his son, and the motel, Mia has a lot of problems! And to add to that, Mia and her parents are hiding Chinese immigrants in the motel! And if Mr. Yao, the motel owner, finds out, he’ll fire them? What will they do? I love these books! If you have a book or series for me to review, email me at [email protected]. Or send me a voice message! Thanks! Enjoy! Send me a voice message: https://anchor.fm/riya-b13/message feat. an explanation for why there was no episode last week AND my cousin Sadie!
