Front Royal Kiwanis Pancake Day

from The Valley Today · host Janet Michael

Our conversation today was all about pancakes! Front Royal Kiwanians, Wayne Barber & Bill Powers joined me to give me all the details for the 66th Annual Front Royal Kiwanis Pancake Day. The event happens on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 6am - 1pm at Warren County High School. Tickets are $7 for the all-you-can-eat breakfast and can be purchased from any Front Royal Kiwanis member, at Bill Powers State Farm (135 N. Royal Avenue, Front Royal) and at Craig Zunka, DDS office (107 W. 4th Street, Front Royal.) Wayne explained that the unique thing about their pancake breakfast is the buckwheat pancakes. We talked about how they pivoted during the pandemic and offered a drive-thru service for the breakfast but are back to in-person this year. Takeout will still be available. We also talked about their club and the good works they do throughout our community from supporting the backpack program to working with local youth through Key Clubs. The pair encouraged listeners to ask about Front Royal Kiwanis when attending Pancake Day or visit their website for more information: https://kiwaniscluboffrontroyal.org/
