His work to reinvent how we explore has made headlines around the world, merging adventure with innovation. . Our conversation today traverses his early days living in his car while planning an expedition to find Genghis Khan’s tomb, to an accident that took his leg, leading down a rabbit hole of brain rewiring exploration to rid himself of phantom limb pain. That’s the science of neuroplasticity, which we get into, including his experiment with 10,000 students at a commencement speech.
