 Among the first generation of gothic rock in Germany, Pink Turns Blue was founded in Cologne in 1985 by Mic Jogwer (Lead vocalist, lyricist and bass),  Tom Elbern (guitars) and Marcus Giltjes (drums). The band took its name after a Hüsker Dü song called "Pink Turns To Blue." Their first LP, "If Two Worlds Kiss," gave the new wave sound dark undertones, developing the sub-genre of darkwave and becoming a seminal album in the post-punk genre. Since their world tour from 2018 to 2020, the three-piece band has grown a global fan base with strongholds all over the world, including the US, Mexico, Germany, UK, and Brazil. Their single "Something Deep Inside" was used in Matthew Berkowitz’s thriller "The Madness Inside Me."Their latest singles "You Still Mean Too Much To Me" "There Must Be So Much More" "Not Even Trying" and "So Why Not Save The World" will be available on their new album, "Tainted" which is set to be released on September 24, 2021 via OrdenRecords.  It willalso be available digitally and in two physical formats - a CD with a 16-page booklet and on black vinyl, strictly limited to 500 copies, with an 8-page booklet.
