She sees demons and she dreams about the mountains, the feared entrance of Icepeople's valley. She also gets bothered by other dreams, dreams about Tengel. Tengel with the very distinctive, strange look and his yellow eyes. Benedikt's sister-in-law, Abelone, arrives at the farm. She has decided to settle there, for good. The atmosphere on the farm is very tense and Silje decide to leave with Tengel into the feared valley of Icepeople. Silje and Tengel's friendship grows deeper and they have forged a very special bond through raising up Sol and Dag. After some time with a lot of will and power they cannot resist each other and become lovers and husband and wife. Tengel is very hesitating as he do not want to give birth to someone that shares the same cursed blood as himself. It seems it is avoidable. They give birth to a little girl called Liv Hanna, It is a relief that she seems to be a normal child.
