We start with a detail most readers rush past: God brings the animals to Adam and Adam names them. That one movement sets the tone for everything that follows, because it shows a God who initiates, gives, and assigns identity, while man receives. From there we connect the dots to Jesus as the Second Adam, the one who names saints, exposes unbelief, and calls his people out from the world by divine authority. Then we slow down in Genesis 2:21–23 where God puts Adam into a deep sleep, takes from his side, forms Eve, and brings her to him.
