Frustration remains over Strandhill coastal erosion

Further calls have been made to address the coastal erosion in Strandhill.The fund has been increased nationally in recent months to €90,000 to assist those on the ground.There is strong support in the area for rock armour to be installed and prevent further erosion of the coast.Local Cllr Tom MacSharry says it’s a time-sensitive issue and action is needed urgently:
