We talk with martial arts trainer Jacky about their queer self-defense project that offers free self-defense and MMA classes to the queer and trans community. We also discuss how Brazilian jiu-jitsu is similar to but also different from such activities as parkour and skateboarding. We also dive into the challenges and benefits of starting your own training collective as a novice. Lastly, we discuss the main card of UFC 250.  The queer perspective on MMA is one that is nonexistent in the discourse, which is why you need to listen to this episode.
