FSU sports latest: Football set for signing day, men and women's basketball, Cheez-It Bowl discussion and more

It’s a grab-bag episode of the Seminole Wrap podcast as the Florida State athletic department has a lot of things going on as we move closer to the end of 2022. The Florida State Seminoles football team has two major milestones ahead of them with the Cheez-It Bowl against the Oklahoma Sooners in Orlando on Dec. 29 and National Signing Day on Wednesday. The crew — Brian Pellerin, Jon Marchant and Max Escarpio — takes a look at some of the recent news surrounding the bowl game including some important opt outs for the Sooners, their hopes for a quieter National Signing Day this year after last year’s interesting turn of events and the two new TE transfers. They also give thoughts on the other two big stories on campus — the groundbreaking of the new football facility and the slide of the men’s basketball team. What impact will the new facility have on the program? And could the hoops team’s struggles be a sign of long-term problems? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
