Ft. Dayton Spink and Tristan Takats - Hope Icebreakers (WCSHL) Owners and Players, PJHL Alumns. HUGE KIJHL NEWS SOON, JR UPDATES- Episode 62

This week, we’re joined by Hope Icebreakers owners and players Dayton Spink and Tristan Takats to break down how they built a Senior A hockey team from scratch — and are now drawing 700+ fans per game. We dive into their junior hockey journeys as well, with Dayton spending four seasons with the Aldergrove Kodiaks and Tristan suiting up for the Mission Outlaws, White Rock Whalers, and the Dryden Ice Dogs (SIJHL). Joe and Owen also dig into the major incoming changes to the KIJHL and BC junior hockey as a whole, speculate on the future of the BCHL, and debate what a best-case scenario could look like for everyone involved. Plus: updates from all three junior leagues, the NHL, and the rest of the sports world. Absolutely loaded episode this week!
