FTCC: The Podcast Ep 11 "Chan Lowe: HC at Leroy HS in Leroy, Alabama"

Chan Lowe is the head football coach at Leroy High School in Leroy, Alabama. To say that Coach Lowe has a unique situation in Leroy is an understatement. You will have to listen to the podcast to see how the only undefeated varsity football coach in Alabama is getting it done in a small town in southwest Alabama. Leroy is a small rural school 60 miles north of Mobile Bay. Its football team has won seven state titles since 2004 and is 28-1 over the past two seasons, with two consecutive state championships. Lowe has been at Leroy since 2016 and took over the head coaching reins midway through last season. This episode gets into some Xs and Os, but we talk and tell stories more than anything.
