This episode is a conversation with Bill Smith, the Head Coach of the Donoho Falcons in Anniston, Alabama. Bill and I have been friends since 1993 when we coached at Muscle Shoals. Due to our friendship, I have had a bird's eye view of his career and rise in the coaching ranks. He has coached some of the best players to come out of Alabama and Georgia. He was a part of the dawn of the Air Raid revolution in both states and coached record-breaking offenses as an offensive coordinator and head coach. Bill is a part of several legendary coaching trees; he played college football for Bill Curry at the University of Alabama. Coach Curry, of course, played for Bobby Dodd at Georgia Tech, Vince Lombardi with the Packers, and Don Shula with the Baltimore Colts.
