What did the disciples of Jesus need to accomplish the mission of spreading the Gospel? 1. They needed to have to have the right message. 2. They needed the right manifestation. 3. They needed power to achieve this unthinkable task. 4, They needed the right people. How did Jesus prepare them? 1. He left them with the right mystery: they wouldn't know when he would return. 2. He defined the mission to be witnesses.
