FTNCI 051: Americanism Book Study (2 of 9)

They hate it. Most of today’s evangelical teachers hate individualism. Have you noticed how they use the term? Individualism is taken to mean self-obsession and the failure to live for God. Why is this? There are two groups within the evangelical teachers we are describing here: Those being fooled, and those doing the fooling. That latter group consists of political collectivists eager to twist language in order to suggest a false alternative: Either you can love God and love your church and live for eternal truths, or you can be an individualist. The trick is quite easy to expose. Just define individualism and collectivism. That’s what we do in this session of the Americanism Book Study. ABOUT THE AMERICANISM BOOK STUDY: The Americanism Book Study met from October 23rd to December 19th, 2021 to discuss A New Textbook of Americanism.
