Differences in our understanding of “similarity” lead to differences in our understanding of metaphysical theories such as Nominalism and Realism. Is Ayn Rand’s Objectivism distinct from Aristotle’s version of Metaphysical Realism? Does Rand depart from Metaphysical Realism altogether?​ And, if so, does Rand’s theory also differentiate itself from Metaphysical Nominalism?
