Ftoxins: Why our cosmetics are killing us with Ariane Chui

from STATE OF MIND · host Grace Kingswell

Today I’m talking to the wonderful Ariane from Ftoxins, a polite abbreviation for something we should all be doing - putting our middle fingers up at the sources of toxicity in our lives.   One of these main sources is in our cosmetic products, and that’s what Ariane and her sister Delphine focus on with their blog and Instagram page, but they are also incredibly knowledgeable about the dangers surrounding EMFs (as emitted by our electronic devices), air quality, supplements and materials we commonly use in our kitchens like aluminium and plastic.   The girls provide safer swaps for their followers which is, I think, why they are so successful at what they do. They aren’t just explaining what the chemicals in your kitchen cleanser do they’re giving you a healthier alternative that’s priced similarly and easy to use.   I absolutely love the concept behind Ftoxins and in this episode we talk a lot about cosmetics, moisturisers, what you should and can use on your skin safely and why it’s so important not to rub petroleum all over your body!! Yes, most moisturisers are made from petroleum which comes form petrol.   As ever if you enjoy this episode then you can support me and my little podcast by sharing it to your instagram stories and also by leaving a rave review on the apple podcasts app! Thank you in advance…   gracekingswell.com @gracekingswell @ftoxins
