While never formally charged with witchcraft, Granny Mott and Rebecca Sims both had witchy reputations in the eighteenth century. Granny Mott could turn herself into a chicken, and Rebecca Sims was a sucker for fiddle music and night watchmen. Both women may still be casting their spells upon us.
