Fuck No, I'm Not Changing My Writing Because of Trump

from The Renegade Writer's Mouthy Musings · host The Mouthy Renegade Writer, K.R. Byers, and The Jack-Buddhist Therapist

Y’all…Man, did I really do it good this time. I wrote a piece earlier today that was meant to be funny. Satire. A tongue-in-cheek humor article about what it would look like if I suddenly changed my writing style. If I had to praise Trump rather than roast him, to keep my freedom. It was silly. It was humorous. And it fucking pissed me off.I felt disgusted by the end of it. Even though I feel I accomplished my mission of creating a funny, satirical spoof of switching sides while still sarcastically insulting Spray Tan Shitler, it just made me feel bad. I hate Donald Trump and everything he stands for. I’m shaking it off, though. I have to get ready for my Substack Live with K.R. Byers and Libby the Mooch. I don’t plan to be in a pissy mood when we spend some much-needed time with the Mouthy Militia. We have orange dick-tators to roast and make fun of. So I’m hitting the reset button, and the venting I did in this episode has me feeling a bit better.Let’s do this thing here in a bit. We hope that we see as many of you as possible in about an hour. Join us at 6 PM EST and let’s vent, laugh, and make fun of Combover Caligula together. We have a lot to discuss before the big protests this weekend.Thank you for lending me your ears, once again. It means everything to me.If you enjoy my daily podcast episodes, please consider a monthly tip. It’s less than $5 to be a paid supporter, and I’d be honored to have you join our Mouthy Militia.
