Fuel prices to jump 17.5 cents as excise relief ends
from 7News Just In · host LiSTNR
Fuel prices are set to increase by at least 17.5 cents per litre from August 3rd as the government's excise relief ends and inflation adjustments take effect. Average national unleaded prices have already jumped from $1.55 to $1.90 per litre since early July due to missile strikes between the US and Iran and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. A Demos AU poll shows One Nation could win 60 seats compared to Labor's projected 68 seats in the 2028 election, though Opposition Leader Angus Taylor rules out any coalition with Pauline Hanson's party.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
