Full House: S5E12: Bachelor Of The Month ( In Honor Of Gail Edward's Birthday)

Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. In honor of Gail Edwards’s (Vicki Larson) Birthday today. I decided to cover Full House S6E12: Bachelor of the Month, which aired on November 26, 1991. In this episode: Danny is named Bay Area Magazine’s Bachelor Of The Month and every available woman in San Fran is lining up to get a piece of him. One lady I kid you not, jogged across the Bay Bridge to his back door to ask Danny to dinner. 24 dates in 10 days. I did the math that’s 2.5 dates a day. Clearly Danny is not pacing himself. Granted he’s only bachelor of the month, not the year, so he’s got to get the dates while he can because once the month’s up he’ll be yesterday’s news and no one will care. Three years of submitting his photo and bio finally paid off. Jesse and Becky as new parents to infants Nicky and Alex are prime examples of the walking dead, running on 2 hours of sleep a night and are drowning in mountains of dirty laundry. Joey, Deej and Steph jump in to assist and give the new parents a night off for a romantic candlelight dinner only for them to nod off at the dinner table while holding hands across the table. Cuteness overload. Joey loses rock, paper, scissors to the girls and has to change Nicky’s diaper only to complain the whole time in a Popeye voice. Apparently baby’s pee out of their foot which is evident in the changing table scene. C’mon props person. Get it together. Danny’s nighttime bedtime story ritual with Michelle is sorely lacking in the creative department as he cuts corners to fit in all his dates and tucks Michelle in at 3 in the afternoon. Michelle kidnaps Teddy and they hijack Danny’s date with Vicki where they eat $50 pieces of chocolate cake. Danny and Vicki admit their true feelings of looking for someone special and share their first kiss as the audience goes cray-cray! Join me next week as I belatedly celebrate Dave Coulier's birthday covering Full House S2E7: Joey Gets Tough, which aired on November 25, 1988. In this episode Joey and DJ comes to blows after she comes home late, forgetting to call and basically tells him to chillax. Joey fed up with DJ's lack of respect and taking advantage of him he grounds her and forbids her from competing in her karate tournament that she's been strategizing for months. This causes a rift in their relationship which has to be worked out in none other than a Tanner Family Meeting. Have a great weekend everyone!
