Full House: S8E17: Dateless In San Francisco (Tanner Girls In Love Series/Valentine's Day Episode)

Happy Valentine's Day Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the next episode in the Tanner Girls In Love Series and the last Valentine's Day episode of Full House. In this episode Michelle gets a boyfriend for Valentine's Day, while Joey gets a secret admirer. When Jesse helps Danny plan an elaborate date with Claire, Rebecca feels neglected. I thought this was a fun episode, Jesse pretending Valentine's Day wasn't that important to him and constantly referring to he and Becky as an "old married couple". I understand Becky's frustration if it were just Valentine's Day that'd be one thing (although even then still no excuse), but it's their wedding anniversary for crying out loud. I'd be angry if I were her. Michelle's second boy/girl relationship (Yes, I'm counting Howie from Season 2) crashes and burns as she becomes little miss demanding and Teddy finally having had enough of Michelle's bossiness ends their relationship. I blame Lisa for that whole mess of having the kids all couple up in class just so she could be with Derek. Also subjecting poor Sophia to Aaron Bailey is, I mean, there's no excuse for that kind of torture. Oh my gosh Miss or Mrs. Carruthers, don't even get me started on her, she's in need of a major no means no lesson and I think she should be fired for harassment of poor Joey. If I hadn't seen this episode before, no way would I have guessed who Joey's secret admirer was. If a secret admirer sent you a gift would you accept it or be suspicious and try to track them down? Kimmy's got weird fantasies that no teenager girl should ever have and Stephanie's crushing on a guy who complains she's too smart because her bag is loaded down with what he thinks is books (it was actually her rock collection) what a wimp. Hey dude, you offered to carry her bag, no intellect shaming. Join me next week for the next episode in the series, Full House S4E22: Stephanie Plays The Field, which aired on March 8, 1991.
