Full Sail University to Open IBM Cyber Defense Range Powered by AWS and Cloud Range on Campus

Full Sail University is opening a new IBM Cyber Defense Range powered by AWS and Cloud Range this month, giving cybersecurity and IT students hands-on experience with realistic attack-and-defense scenarios. The 1,463 square-foot facility will feature 28 workstations and large-scale displays where students can practice incident response, threat hunting, and digital forensics in simulated enterprise environments that mirror real-world cybersecurity operations. The range will also host competitions and training events for local businesses and government agencies, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for April 16th.
