from The Scoot Show with Scoot

On today's show, Civil rights attorney Ben Crump and the family of 18-year-old college football player Nolan Wells are challenging official narratives and leading an independent investigation into his mysterious death. Wells went missing during a Fourth of July boat outing with friends on Horn Island, Mississippi. While local authorities initially stated they suspected no signs of foul play and pointed toward accidental drowning, Crump and the family argue the timeline and details "do not add up." Millions of Americans are using credit cards or dipping into savings accounts to afford groceries.  Is this happening to you or someone you love? Have you cut out buying anything you really like because of the increase in prices? House Speaker Mike Johnson declined to answer questions and reserved judgment during a press briefing regarding the fatal Immigration and Customs Enforcement shooting of a man in Maine. When pressed by reporters on whether Congress should demand accountability from the Department of Homeland Security over the agents' lack of body cameras, Johnson stated, "I don't know anything about this event, OK? I was a little busy yesterday so I'm going to reserve judgment". He explained that he had worked 22 hours over the last few days and had not yet received a briefing on the matter. Research shows an increase in the population of sharks in the Gulf.  And the increase includes bull sharks, which are one of the most aggressive sharks.  Does this change your mind about swimming in the Gulf waters this summer?  What do you remember about seeing "JAWS" for the first time?  Did it affect your desire to swim in the Gulf?
