Full Show | E&G True Hollywood Bible Story: Elisha and the hungry prophets; Do not give away your joy; Christian singer Mike Teezy joins Get Up; and More

The show opens with an engaging E&G True Hollywood Bible Story centered on Elisha and the hungry prophets from 2 Kings 4, bringing Scripture to life through humor and insight while unpacking how God provided during a famine. In the biblical account, a deadly stew is miraculously made safe and a small offering of bread feeds many, reminding listeners that God’s provision isn’t limited by scarcity and that obedience and faith can transform lack into abundance. The story emphasizes leadership, trust, and divine intervention—encouraging believers to rely on God even when circumstances look impossible.   Later, Erica Campbell delivers a powerful, personal teaching on why believers must not give away their joy, explaining that joy is not just an emotion but a spiritual weapon. Drawing from Nehemiah 8:10—“the joy of the Lord is your strength”—she shares how guarding her joy protects her peace, purpose, and connection to God, especially during stressful seasons. The episode also features an uplifting conversation with Christian artist Mike Teezy, who joins the show to talk about his growing impact in gospel music, including his collaboration with Erica on the song“For My Good” and the release of his genre‑blending album Chameleon. Teezy reflects on authenticity, faith, and using creativity to reach people across generations, celebrating milestones like massive streaming success and his commitment to community outreach through music.  Website: https://www.urban1podcasts.com/get-up-mornings-erica-campbell See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
