Full Show | Marquis Gold and Fresh Start Worship joins Get Up; E&G True Hollywood Story: Jesus heals Peter’s mother-in-law; Peace over denial; and More

On this uplifting episode of Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell, the show centers on faith, healing, and resilience, beginning with a powerful conversation with Marquis Gold of Fresh Start Worship, who joins the show to discuss the group’s new single “You Are.” Gold shares his personal testimony of surviving a life‑threatening illness that landed him in the ICU, explaining how the song was born out of a moment when doctors told him to prepare for the worst. His story echoes a growing trend in gospel music where worship songs are deeply rooted in lived testimony, positioning “You Are” as a declaration of faith forged through crisis rather than comfort.   The episode also features an engaging E&G True Hollywood Bible Story spotlighting Jesus healing Peter’s mother‑in‑law from a severe fever (Luke 4:38–39), emphasizing Jesus’ compassion, authority over sickness, and the immediate response of service after healing—an often‑highlighted theme in biblical scholarship as a model of discipleship. Building on that message, Erica delivers a deeply personal Ericaism on choosing peace over denial, drawing a clear line between pretending nothing is wrong and resting in God while fully acknowledging reality. Faith leaders and theologians consistently reinforce this distinction, noting that true peace doesn’t ignore pain but trusts God within it—a message that resonated throughout the show as callers shared testimonies of healing, gratitude, and endurance.  Website: https://www.urban1podcasts.com/get-up-mornings-erica-campbell See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
