Hope you have some great plans for today. Hope you get the day off and spend some extra time with your family, do some fun things. Here's what we're going to talk about today. There's a new immigration number out that I think deserves a whole lot more attention than it's probably going to get. We're going to break it down for you in today's show. Americans believe that government corruption is widespread, hit a record 89% this year, driven by a massive increase in Democrats' concerns that puts them on par with Republicans, according to this new poll. And what would you do if your DoorDash driver shows up at your door with your food totally naked? That's the situation a Houston family found themselves dealing with. You're going to want to hear this one. And once again, a federal judge has halted President Trump's newest executive action to restrict birthright citizenship. It's a busy Labor Day. Let's get started. There's a new immigration number that was released just last week that I think deserves a lot more attention than it's probably going to get, because if these numbers hold up, we're not talking about a minor change at the border. We're talking about something the U.S. hasn't experienced in generations. According to a new analysis reported by The Washington Times, the foreign-born population living in the U.S. has fallen by merely three—3 million people since President Trump returned to office. 3 million people. Now, think about that. For years, we were told that once millions of people entered this country, there really wasn't much anybody could do about it. We heard that deporting large numbers of illegal immigrants was unrealistic. We were told that people weren't going to voluntarily leave. We were told that enforcement just would not work. Well, apparently, enforcement can change behavior, and these new numbers certainly suggest that it has. The analysis comes from the Center for Immigration Studies, which looked at the federal government's Current Population Survey. According to their preliminary estimate, the total foreign-born population declined by 2.9 million people between January 2025 and July of 2026. Now, I want to be careful about terminology here because this is important. That 2.9 million is not simply the number of illegal immigrants who have been deported. The foreign-born population includes legal immigrants, naturalized citizens, permanent residents, temporary residents, and illegal immigrants. The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the illegal immigration population itself declined by about 2.9 million, from roughly 15.8 million in January 2025 to about 13.5 million in July of this year. Still a lot of work to be done. And here's what makes this story even more remarkable, though: according to the researchers, this could represent the first sustained period of negative net migration in this country since the 1930s. That's an extraordinary change. Remember what happened during the previous four years of Joe Biden? According to the same analysis, America's foreign-born population increased by approximately 8.3 million people that we know of—8.3 million during the four years preceding Donald Trump's return to the Oval Office. So, we went from an enormous increase to a significant decrease in a relatively short period of time, which kind of shows you things can happen quickly.
