"Fully Known and Fully Loved" // Psalm 139 (Sunday 6/11/23)

To be deeply known - and fully loved. Is it even possible? We often act as if it’s one or the other; We hide and cover because we think if people really knew us, they’d think less of us - they wouldn't like us as much. We put our best foot forward in order to impress others. Or, we decide to just completely be ourselves, and if people don’t like it, well…you know, who cares - screw ‘em anyway! Deep down, we long to be fully known and fully loved, but we doubt it’s possible. Who in the world could love us like that? With all of our shortcomings, can we really be fully known and loved? WHO REALLY knows us, in all our messiness, and still loves us? If there’s a God who created each one of us, who knew us from the very beginning, who knows our every thought and action, who sees everything, what would He think of us? What would He think of you? What if this God, who fully knows you, actually loves you more than you can imagine? This Sunday, we take a look at another one of God's songs in the Bible; "Psalm 139" and see for ourselves.
