Funding an Acquisition between $200-$400k
from Let's Buy a Business · host Ryan Condie
One of the most common questions I get is how to fund a business between the ranges of $200k and $400k. There aren't great options here because most banks won't loan on this amount, an unproven business sometimes, may not be big enough to support you, etc. Here are a few options though. 1. Save up. This can take awhile. 2. SBA from a local bank. Has to be local. 3. Find an investor on good terms, make it interesting to them. 4. Short term debt (I'M NOT A FAN OF THIS and don't recommend it) 5. Seller note 6. Find a new sweet spot in terms of price range.
