from Thought Rebellion Hosted by Thought Rebellion

Terence McKenna, a renowned philosopher, lecturer, and author, developed this theory and proposed that early humans ingested psilocybin-containing mushrooms and experienced a higher state of consciousness, leading to an evolution in their cognitive abilities ,earth is home to many creatures , all of which have varying levels of awareness and specialised senses with which they can apprehend their worlds, but it is humans that are uniquely aware of their own awareness, we human beings have developed objective thinking, and an introspection that breaks through , the forth wall, as the saying goes, which lends itself to our cognitive ability to manipulate our environments., and innovate within diverse habitatshow and why is it that we alone earnt this gift , were it not a boon from the gods then could it be simply natural selection as another theory promotes, or did we somewhere in the far of past , and as terrance mckenna theorises , have our minds expanded beyond instinct simply due to a change in diet ..whether fate or fortune if indeed panspermian fungi seeded the planet ,today on the thought rebellion we are asking - did fungitopia seed our counsciousness
