Funk You - 'Precautious' And Beyond

This week No Simple Road is extremely excited to have Funk You as our guest! Friends, fun, and love comprise the ethos of Funk You, a nine-piece musical juggernaut from Augusta, Georgia. Motivated by a love of liver performance and armed with a captivating sonic presence, the band places a healthy helping of soul atop a funky backbeat that continues to evolve even after a decade on the road! We start this episode, before the interview, with a check in from The Northwest String Summit Peacock Pickin' Party. This is NSR's first time at a show since quarantine and we brought a couple listeners along for the ride! Then, we get into our conversation with the guys from Funk You about getting back at it after the Great Pause, seeing fans get emotional from the stage, re-releasing their first album for their 10 year anniversary with an entire horn section, being "precautious", and a whole lot more!
