A couple of days into 2023 and I’m back with more Funkier Radio sounds for your ears! Just because I can, I start the tempo quick on this one before dropping things down to a more comfortable pace. There’s the usual mix of new and old, with a couple of brand new bits from me - one edit and one remix… both of which I’m pretty pleased with. For hour 2 I welcome the very talented Lev for a guest mix. Lev caught my ear recently with a fantastic guest mix for my good friend Nathan Simpson’s DayDream Disco, and I was thrilled when she agreed to do a mix for my show. She didn’t disappoint as this mix is brilliant, starting off with lots of lovely boogie sounds and moving into some sublime lesser known disco, exactly the sort of high quality stuff that I love.
