Episode 126 was another enjoyable one - I had a lovely time in hour one, mixing up all sorts of weirdness. Decided to start slow-ish and build up rather than jump around the BPM, so we go from moody Afro influences up to pumping disco, with a couple of brand spanking new bits from me in there. Quite smooth mixing from me for once, except at one point I hit the wrong button and completely stopped the music… but I don’t think anyone noticed! Hour 2 was bloody good! We were treated to an hour of disco delights from Loughborough-based party starting duo DiscoJam. True to their name, this was a wonderfully put together and expertly mixed journey through disco and nu-disco sounds with a great mix of favourites, lesser-known cuts and a few surprises.
