Dug into the funkiest corners of my collection for this one - no clever journey, just a load of tunes that hit hard, one after the other. There's some proper heavyweight funky business occurring - Zapp, Dennis Coffey, Rose Royce… and Talking Heads again. Alongside the vintage goodies there’s a big pile of modern edits doing their best to keep up - Opolopo, Buscrates, Packer. Ends with Bill Withers, which is never the wrong decision. Enjoy!
