Funky House SF Style

from mancub's podcast · host chip corwin

I used to Dj down tempo rooms in SF during the late 90's. I always wanted to play the Big Room but House Music claimed the dance floors. People would dance their ass off and sing with the songs. I remember some of my homies from Red Melon Recods (Jay, Fred, Dan) gave me a shot but I had to make a house mix for approval...Here it is! I spun house for a hot sec. but break beats, Drum and Bass and hip hop was my style. I joined the Space Cowboys in '99 and fell hard for the Breaks along with encouragement from my best friend, Uncle Dave. He bought me a CD recorder(that i still use) to make mix cd's instead of tapes. Thanks buddy! Chip-mancub-corwin
