Funnel clouds over Floresville

Just before sunset April 17, about 6:40 p.m., Floresville photographer Felipe Salazar went outside; as he looked to the sky toward the west Friday evening, he spotted a funnel cloud. “As the funnel cloud spun, it began to unravel,” he shared. Then “another thin funnel appeared and then another long thin cloud appeared.” These stayed up in the sky for about 10 minutes, he said, then dissipated. Friday evening was blustery and drizzly, as Texas braced for a weather system Saturday from the north, which brought low temperatures in the 40s and 50s and much-needed rain to the area. Article Link
