Furious (S01E01-03)

Loosely inspired by the 1987 thriller Black Widow, Furious follows Alice Black (Emmy Rossum), a former NYPD detective turned FBI rookie, as she connects a suspicious string of murders to a sex trafficking case from 2012. The cat-and-mouse story is less of a whodunit and more of a character-driven, trauma-centric, psychoanalytical look at two former victims whose lives have been redefined in completely different ways as a result of their trauma.On the podcast, we discuss the numerous comparisons this show brings to mind, our thoughts on the murders and the leads, and where we think this investigation is likely heading.
