Furness Show 12-18: Jake Dickert is gone, Brandon Funston, Cougar Roundtable and Mike Holmgren

from The Ian Furness Show

Ian is live from Chambers Bay for a very great reason.  Jake Dickert is on his way to Wake Forest and Ian is both mad and disappointed at the same time. While we know college football is a transient business, we were led to believe Dickert was cut from a different cloth, especially considering what we've heard from him throughout this season. Ian sees this as wrong on a lot of levels. Brandon Funston, The Athletic joins us for a check in on the fantasy football playoffs! He takes you through the latest on your fantasy roster. Huge shoutout to Chambers Bay for all the contributions they make to the community through the Mayor of Maple Valley! Steve Palazzolo, The 33rd Team joins us with the latest around the NFL, beginning with Michael Penix named as the starter in Atlanta. Where do the Seahawks stand right now as we enter week 17? The Cougar Roundtable with Alex Brink and Mkristo Bruce! While the guys can agree with the disappointment Ian feels in the wake of Coach Dickert's departure, they don't think he did anything any other coach would've done. As for the statements Dickert made leading up to this, which contradict his action today, there's not much else he can say in those situations. Ian gives some names he's hearing when it comes to interest in the Washington State head coaching position. Mike Holmgren, Legendary Coach joins us to take a look at the week that was for the Seahawks last Sunday and previews the rest of their season down the stretch. Anne McCoy talked to the media today and we listen to what she had to say in the wake of Jake Dickert's departure.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
