Furness Show 4-29: Beau Stephens, Steve Palazzolo, Greg Cosell, Corbin Smith

from The Ian Furness Show

Beau Stephens, Seahawks New Guard joins Ian to share his draft experience and what the call was like when he found out he was drafted. He is quite honest about the feelings he had throughout the process. He's so appreciative of the fact the Seahawks traded up for him and what it meant. He also shares why he's so open with his own experiences with mental health and how he wants it to help other people. Finally, he shares his style of play.  Steve Palozzolo, The 33rd Team joins Ian for an extensive breakdown of the Seahawks in the NFL Draft. Plus, a look around the NFC West and what the Niners and Rams did this year. He talks in depth about Lod Angeles' decision to take Ty Simpson in the first round and how they're building their team.  Ian sees no way, under the ownership of Tom Dundon, that the Trailblazers move to Seattle. The teams here treat their players and staff with first class candor, and he does not have that.  Ian tells you why he thinks the Seahawks jumped up for Beau Stephens and, despite the criticisms on his arm length, his ability to get to the second level is valuable.  Greg Cosell, NFL Films joins Ian to give a wrap of the Seahawks' draft and tells us what the film says! He takes a dive into what they did, as well as the moves others in the NFC West we saw happen throughout last weekend.  The Daily Power Play!  The Mariners win and are back to .500 now. We await some news on Matt Brash's concerning exit and give roses to Cole Young.  Corbin Smith, Emerald City Spectrum joins Ian for one final wrap up of the NFL Draft. He's baffled by what the Niners did. Higher focus is on the Seahawks as we concentrate on the Seahawks' picks and how great a pick Beau Stephens was in the fifth round. Corbin takes us through the rest of the picks the Seahawks made and why they did. In Corbin's opinion, Dante Fowler Jr. is likely to become a Seahawk. He also gives his take on new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury, in whom Corbin has a lot of confidence.  Checking in on the Texts, Talkbacks and YouTube Comments!  Crosstalk with Dick Fain!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
