FuseBox Radio #549: Praxis of the Heart (Inspired By The Dating Observances of Leslie Jones) - Bonus Commentary [Week of Feb. 2, 2018]

This is a straight up commentary episode of the FuseBox Radio Broadcast where DJ Fusion & The Black Hawk talked about the news story about actress & comedian Leslie Jones' frustration about dating (especially feeling like there is no point to it & getting discouraged) and how it related to our personal lives & interactions, how other heads can go through it at large on that end regardless of looks, employment, class, etc., the f*ckery of false, stoic "strength" when dealing with someone else's crap in a romantic relationship as a Black person (and person in general), the casual cruelty with other folks' judgement of one's worthiness for a relationship, how folks reacted to Leslie Jones' feelings on the Internet (some not very well at ALL), how men & women deal with crap of weirdly fluctuating expectations, dealing with folks bullsh*t in a healthy way after they say you're not worthy of a relationship and more. Feel free to check out some recent episodes of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast over at our official blog, BlackRadioIsBack.com - most of the shows are clean/radio friendly.
