We said we could build nuclear weapons to keep the peace. But we never understood that the human condition of envy, greed and violence would win out. In the future, when Iran and Israel use nuclear weapons the World will blame America for its failed Policy of Deterrence to keep the peace. The unimaginable will have become a reality. And so, America will be viewed as a pariah country, despised and ridiculed for having brought death and destruction.
