Future of Work in the AI Era: Your job might be gaming all day to train an AI

Send us Fan MailIn this video, I share the answer I gave in a recent media interview to the question "How is AI going to affect the job market in the long term?" The adoption of Artificial Intelligence promises to automate most  of the knowledge work, eliminating many and creating a new generation of occupations for human workers. The same way previous generations had to change their notions of what "real work" is, accepting that someone spending their days in front of a computer reading and typing can be doing productive work, we will need to stretch our notions of what work is. In this video we argue that an important class of future jobs might be living in an artificial environment reminiscent of a immersive video game so that our behavior can be used to improve the understanding of an AI of how humans and the world work.
