Future Organizations

from Concept future · host YUKO NAGAKI

The Currents of Future Organizations Organizations around the world are quietly changing how their parts fit together. For-profit companies run today’s business, non-profits take on development and prototypes, and foundations hold the long-term mission and manage new forms of capital. It is a way of keeping today’s management capital and future capital separate. Companies aren’t disappearing. What is slowly spreading is a structure where a foundation or trust holds the voting rights. More organizations are taking on work that spans long time horizons, and AI is splitting into shared platforms and independent operation by regions and companies. Who holds the standards for ethics and judgment may become what sets organizations apart. As future thinking spreads into daily life, future literacy rises. What matters then is not leaving everything to AI, but using our own future brain to think. Even a group of individuals, thinking together with AI whose fairness can be checked again and again, could diagnose possible futures. A society like that may be possible.Risks and possibilities alike will look different, and so will how we prepare. At FUTURE SESSION, we explore this thinking design and the future of organizations. https://www.marcury-vision.com
