Gaat een digitale meldplicht voor voetbalhooligans met stadionverbod werken? (26 september 2024)

Minister David Van Weel van Justitie en Veiligheid wil een digitale meldplicht voor mensen met een stadionverbod. Deze voetbalhooligans moeten zich tijdens wedstrijden melden via een kastje met vingerafdrukscanner om te controleren of ze inderdaad niet in het stadion zijn. In Rotterdam, Utrecht en Leeuwarden wordt hier al mee geëxperimenteerd, maar nu wil de minister dat dus ook landelijk uitrollen.
