However, the older we get and the more “life gets in the way,” the more we have come to realize that the longer we wait on inspiration, the fewer creative things we create. The hard truth is that if you want to call yourself an artist, you need to actively and regularly create. You must actively be creating on a regular basis—inspired or not—in order to discover your greatest work. Thus, the more you create, the better you will create.
