Directly from GoFundMe: "My name is Michelle and I'm fundraising on behalf of my best friends who have just received devastating and unexpected news. Gabe has been diagnosed with a Blastoma Brain Tumor and will be out of work for the foreseeable future while a specific diagnosis is pending and a treatment plan determined. Gabe and his Wife have been together since 2015 and supported each other through many phases of life. They were engaged in 2020 and married in 2021. They purchased their first home in 2022 and welcomed their son at the end of 2023. In December 2024, just days before their son's first birthday, Gabe suffered a medical event and sought attention at the ER. Every test was negative, but his case was complicated enough to warrant an MRI. The initial MRI results uncovered a tumor. After the results had been shared with Gabe and his Wife, he experienced a Grand Mal Seizure. It was evident that he needed additional medical attention, so he was transferred to another hospital to get a biopsy completed as fast as possible. The biopsy results determined the tumor is a Blastoma, but type and grade are still to be determined. Gabe is on medication to control the seizures while awaiting further appointments with Oncology.
