Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour with Mariam Massaro: #641

from Dreamvisions 7 Radio & TV Network · host Dreamvisions 7 Radio Network

Gaea Star Crystal Radio Hour #641 is an hour of compelling visionary acoustic improvised music played by The Gaea Star Band with Mariam Massaro on vocals, acoustic guitar, ukulele, shruti box, Native flute and mandolin, Bob Sherwood on piano and Craig Harris on congas and Native drum. Recorded live in early October 2025 at Singing Brook Studio in Worthington, Massachusetts, today’s dynamic show begins with the powerful, mysterious “Let’s Celebrate Every Day”, an inspired prayer with powerful vocals and piano and “Sail On” is a beautiful rendering of this track from Mariam’s “Vision Quest” LP driven along with Mariam’s tight ukulele work and inspired vocal. “The Wisdom Of The Ancient Ones” is a powerful, sparse piece built on throbbing Native drum, beautiful classical piano figurations and a particularly powerful vocal and Native flute conversation from Mariam. “Welcome October” is a breathless reel with racing mandolin and a unique Mazurka-like piano approach and “Healing Ways So Deep Within” is a spacious, widescreen piece of music with soaring vocals and Native flute above steady heartbeat drum and an unusual, haunting chord scheme on piano. “Let’s All Come Together” is a pretty, languid folk rock song with an evocative vocal from Mariam above her chiming acoustic guitar and we complete today’s show with “Cradle Me”, a powerful, touching ballad with a fine vocal from Mariam and wide-ranging piano from Bob.
