Gail Simmons is a trained culinary expert, food writer, & television personality. She has been a judge on Top Chef for 15 seasons, since the show’s inception in 2006. Her first cookbook, Bringing It Home, was released in October 2017. Gail shares her time (and money) with organizations such as Spoons Across America, City Harvest, Hot Bread Kitchen, Common Threads, the Institute of Culinary Education and more. Gail was born and raised in Toronto, Canada and moved to New York City in 1999.
