Send us Fan MailThere is a specific verse that people typically are familiar with. No, I'm not talking about John 3:16. Remember the very first verse of John stating "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"? This is the verse. This is the verse that shines forth the doctrine of the trinity. Later in that book, John 8:35, Jesus states "Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” I wish I could type up the entire sermon on the gospel that Jesus is bringing but in this episode, you get to understand the meaning of being God's son more in depth.
