Galaxy High School (1986)

It’s back-to-school season… unless you’re listening on the Club Feed, in which case, Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀 On this episode, we resurrect Saturday Morning Crunch at the request of a longtime podcast pal, Eric Alex, who also joins us as co-host! Eric was talking games with Kyle VonKubik and John E. Capcom all the way back in 2009, and we’re thrilled to have him back on the mic. This time, we’re diving into the criminally underrated and under-discussed 1986 cartoon Galaxy High School, a show that had all the right pieces but ultimately never found its audience. Join us as we explore this short-lived animated series, its potential influences, and its surprising connections to tabletop role-playing games.
