The family moved to the US where she spent her formative years. She returned to Israel at the age of 12, finished high school, and joined the obligatory military service. After completing her service, Galit moved to Munich, Germany where she married her first husband. Shortly after her marriage, they moved to London, UK where she earned a BSc in Nutrition and biochemistry, and a PhD in Immunology from the University of North London and the University of Hertfordshire. She also studied and holds diplomas in naturopathy and many other alternative therapies. Galit later returned to Israel and continued to study medicine at the Tel Aviv University where she earned an MSc in Medical Science, after which she opened a private nutritional medicine and personal development consulting practice.
